Please Please Please
Dillon Lara - guitar/vox
Brad Burger - bass/vox Jeremy Morton - drums/vox/keyboards/percussion
Please Please Please is Dillon Lara (guitar/vox), Brad Burger (bass/vox) and Jeremy Morton (drums/vox/keyboards/percussion). The band formed in mid-2005 in search of satisfying their musical goals and dreams.
Musical Influences range from Jimmy Eat World to Bob Dylan to At The Drive-In. PPP is upbeat and uplifting. Soaring atmospheric textures meet chugging bass and thunderous percussion in a wall of sound that is familiar, yet a sound all of its own. They do no push any belief on listeners, but rather strive to write songs that give a message of hope and faith. Their sound is often compared to Explosions in the Sky and Appleseed Cast meets Modest Mouse and Sunny Day Real Estate. Please Please Please have released one Self-Titled full length record. 2007 will see the release of the "Seasons" EP - a 4 song instrumental disc about the 4 seaons, As well as their second full length effort, "Naipotu". There will be two runs this summer around the midwest in support of the new records. They have played across much of the midwest - from Texas to Michigan, and in doing so have shared the stage with several bands, Notably Militia Group's The Appleseed Cast, Deep Elm Record's Latterman, Long Since Forgotten, Rock Ridge Music's The Ike Reilly Assasination, as well as several regional and local acts including The Skies We Built, Ender, With Eager Sails, Stuck With Arthur, Poison Control Center, Plan to Pull Through, Theodore, HappyAss, Grass Withers, Engaged, The Geisert 8 Band, With Love, Umbros, Witch's Hat, and MANY more.

April 27, 2008 Lately it seems those uber-hip indie music czars at Pitchfork can't help touting bands just as Kirksvillain is bringing them to town. ![]() Advance Tickets available at Washington St. Java Co. and Vintage Grooves (the vinyl and CD shop across from the Kirksville Post Office). March 17, 2008 Wisely, who's played a couple of great gigs here at the DuKum, is gunning for a spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live. March 17, 2008 The Pine Hill Haints got a great Pitchfork review for their new CD Ghost Dance and they're playing the DuKum Friday, February 29. ![]() February 28, 2008
